Q: When did you first join R4R and how did you learn about us?
A: I first joined R4R in 2011. My friends, Tami Dokter and Jane Montoya invited me to come out to the January training.
Q: Describe yourself in 25 words or less.
A: I’m a mother, wife, daughter, auntie, cousin, sister, friend, runner, and an educator. I love hanging out with my family, friends, and my dog.
Q: What’s your favorite “Movin’ into Life” activity?
A: Running with my crew!
Q: How do you like to spend your free time? Any hobbies of note?
A: I like to cook, play board games and cards, puzzling, running, and play pickleball.
Q: What’s something most people don’t know about you?
A: I grew up in a very small farming town. I was in 4-H and FFA. I raised sheep and rode my horse.
Q: What has been your most unusual or interesting job?
A: I worked in the tomato fields as a teenager.
Q: What has been your proudest moment since being a part of the R4R family?
A: Honestly, just being so consistent with training and running with my crew. The target races keep me motivated and being part of my R4R family.
Q: How would you describe your Runnin’ for Rhett experience to a child?
A: I would tell them that I have been part of R4R for a long time and that I enjoy running with my friends, getting in shape, and pushing ourselves to get stronger, keep at it, and build in rest days. R4R has been a positive experience and has encouraged me so much that I can move into life.
