Jeremy Tindle – January 2026

Q: What interested you most in joining the Runnin’ for Rhett team as the Director of Development?

A: When this position was posted, I got really excited as I read through it because I was at a point where I wanted a job that made me feel good at the end of the day, and that I was giving back. Plus, I really wanted to have a job working in the world that I love so much, the running community. I told my wife, Jill, that it literally would be my dream job.

Q: What excites you the most about taking on this role?

A: I really love putting on events, even more when they are for a good cause. Being able to help put on races and events that are helping make this world a better place, and changing people’s lives, brings joy to my soul.

Q: How did you learn about Runnin’ for Rhett?

A: I am really involved in the running community, and whenever there was a group run, large running event, or race, I would always see the Blue Crew in the famous blue shirts. I just thought R4R was just another running group. Then one day, I started to ask friends about them and checked out the website. I was blown away that it was not just another run club, but it was a group that was making a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Q: Describe yourself in 25 words or fewer.

A: I am an introvert, unless we have a common ground, then it is easy for me to have a conversation. Avid Runner, and it is in most of my conversations. Loves my wife, dogs, music, Star Wars, rom coms, and laughing so hard that it hurts.

Q: As an avid runner, what has been your proudest running experience?

A: I have always looked for new challenges in running. Once I complete one, I move on to the next and see how much I can accomplish. Finishing five 50k’s and 4 marathons is high on my list. The other would be getting awarded the Community Runner of the Year in 2025. It was such an honor to receive this award for just doing what I love, which is making the running community an amazing place.

Q: How do you like to spend your free time? Any hobbies of note?

A: A lot of my free time is spent running and training for my next big race. I also love spending time with my wife and our 3 dogs. We really enjoy taking trips, going to shows, and shopping for vinyl.

Q: What has been your most unusual or interesting job?

A: I spent 12 years of my life as a hairdresser. In that time, I worked for a few product companies. I had the honor of traveling the country teaching classes to other hairdressers, working shows, and doing photo shoots. I had the privilege of having my work published in Vogue magazine and used in ads for a product line in Germany.

Q: If you were a vegetable, what would you be and why?

A: I would have to say a cucumber. They are complex vegetables that go with so many things. Plus, they get transformed into one of my favorite things, PICKLES!

Q: What is one thing that you’d like share with our adult fitness community to help them get to know you?

A: I love to learn random facts about people and ask random questions. Oh, and I am really horrible with names, so please don’t be offended if I don’t remember your name or have to ask it more than once.
