Q: When and why did you first join R4R and how did you learn about us?
A: I joined R4R shortly after our move from Texas 2 years ago. I researched running groups in the area, as I regularly ran with friends in Texas, and went to try it out since R4R has a free trial period! MY FAVORITE thing about R4R is the kids’ running program! I love that we are influencing kids to make healthy choices!
Q: What’s your very favorite “Movin’ into Life” activity?
A: Overall, hiking and running, but we were introduced to pickleball and snowshoeing through R4R and have so enjoyed getting to experience new opportunities!
Q: What is your favorite weekend getaway location?
A: Auburn is great!
Q: How do you like to spend your free time?
A: I’m a graduate student, so that takes most of my free time. I cherish our family time when we get to spend time with our adult kids who live out of state. My husband and I are both involved at our church.
Q: Any hobbies of note?
A: Yoga, cross stitch, writing, reading, attending concerts, & musicals.
Q: What’s your most interesting bucket list item?
A: Traveling to Italy & Australia
Q: What has been your proudest moment since being a part of the R4R family?
A: Experiencing trail running.
Q: If you were a vegetable, what would you be and why?
A: Purple cabbage because it’s hearty and tough and mixes well with other vegetables
Q: How would you describe your Runnin’ for Rhett experience to a child?
A: This is a fun way to try new things and hang out with new friends!
